Our products consist of natural foods, vitamins, supplements, herbs, personal care products. We have the largest selection of gluten-free products in the area.

About Us

We have been serving the Grand Island, Nebraska community for over 40 years. Our philosophy lies in educating our customers about health products and offering them the best customer service. We moved 8 1/2 years ago to our new location at 5 points. We have better access and plenty of parking. We believe in our community and often promote community events such as Blood Screening Events and educational classes each month.

Meet Our Staff

co-owner Judy Ruzicka -- I worked at Natural Food Products, Inc. for 10 years before buying the store in Sept. 2001. This has been an exciting time for me. In the past, I have taken homeopathic classes in Pennsylvania and taught homeopathic classes at Central Community College My colleague and I have attended NNFA's conference in Las Vegas for the past 3 years and found that to be a helpful learning experience.

co-owner Maxine Zentz -- I also worked at Natural Food Products for about 10 years before buying the store in 2001. We were excited for a chance to move to a new, ground level building one month after buying the business. This has been a good move for us.

part-time employee Becky Borges -- Becky is a valued employee who is very knowledgeable in natural health. Want to know more about the benefits of blood type diet?, the adverse effects of childhood vaccines?, gluten intolerance?, just ask Becky. She will guide you and help you learn more about ways to improve your diet and health.

part time employee Connie -- C.J., who will always be 'Connie" to us, is also a valued employee who only works for us a few hours a week as she also works at Cabella's as a customer service rep. Connie will be glad to visit with you about your needs in the health department. Our aim is to help you better be able to help yourself.

jack of all trades Darci Schroeder -- I was a customer of the store before I became an employee. I always enjoyed coming into the store and learning from the great staff. I mentioned that if they were ever hiring I'd be interested and the rest is history. I am married to Kirk Schroeder. We live in Doniphan with our two dogs & cat. When I'm not working you can find me walking along the Platte river with my dogs or at yoga class. Namaste! :)
